About
Why counselling?
Counselling offers you the time you deserve to be heard, reflect and grow. It is sometimes easier to speak someone who is outside of your world when you are feeling vulnerable or overwhelmed. I am here for you and you can be heard without judgement no matter the circumstance.

Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. For those age 18 and above.
My Approach
Life can be tough, and reflecting with another person can relieve the weight you may be
carrying alone. As an integrative therapist, I adapt my approach to fit your unique story, using
natural humour and personality to keep our sessions comfortable and collaborative. I believe
our past shapes how we think, feel, and act today. My work is rooted in person-centred therapy,
meaning I recognise that you are the true expert on yourself. By blending a psychodynamic
perspective, we can bring unconscious thoughts and difficult memories to light, while also
focusing on your current physical sensations to keep you grounded in the present. Ultimately,
my goal is to help you feel empowered, understand yourself better, and leave each session with
practical strategies and a lighter burden.
My background is within NHS services as a registered Occupational Therapist. I work daily with people with long term conditions from all walks of life, where often physical and emotional difficulties impact someone's ability to live life to the full. As I am now a trained counsellor, the two professions collide giving me greater skill and awareness on how someone may be responding to change or being out of control within their lives. I have completed a BACP accredited in a level 7 Integrative Counselling.
My Background
Areas of interest
I have a special interest in working with those with long term health conditions. Whether this is a new diagnosis or something you have been holding for a while. This may relate to pain, managing a condition or change whilst trying to continue with daily life. I am here to hear you, you are not alone.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs in a safe, welcoming space.
